surfacing is an addition to rough timbers, green or kiln dried, that provides a unique texture to the timber. For the dealer, this means a product upgrade that removes common material handling problems like band marks or strap marks from sawmill handling,weather or mill stains during order fabrication. surfacing can be used on any species of wood …. Fir, Cedar, Cypress and many more.
For your customer, surfacing means a job site ready product requiring no site touch up before installation, but with a textured finish the consumer expects. All four surfaces are usable every time.
Because a timber provides greater customer satisfaction, costly material returns are greatly reduced, and customers will ask for that special surface on all their orders.
